On May 10, 2003, 50 people founded the Karneval Club in the Neustadter Brauhaus

2003 Neustadt eV under the president Armin Peter Haas.

In its founding year, the KCN took over the management of the 1,000-seat marquee at the German Wine Harvest Festival. The club, now known as the Karneval Club 2003 Neustadt - Deidesheim, successfully managed this project for 10 years.

The success gave us the courage to also operate a cheese stand in front of the hall.

It wasn't long before we decided to hold our gala meetings in the Deidesheim Town Hall. With this decision, the KC 2003 Deidesheim eV, as we know it today, was born.

After the festival tent in Neustadt, the KCD took over in Deidesheim at the Weinkerwe

a wine and food stand first at the market square and 5 years later also the one from

Deidesheim Winegrowers' Association. Since then, you can find us every year at the fair with our spritzer stand.

Over the years, friendships have developed with various clubs, and people support each other at events.

In addition to the carnival events, which we carried out with great success, we also organized some excursions

We completed our annual ISAR rafting trip. We were able to experience our 30th Isar rafting trip in 2024 with 60 participants.

Over the years we have hosted various events, such as the Vorderpfälzer Prunksitzung,

some annual general meetings of the Baden Palatinate Association,

the South Convention of the BDK , the Baden - Palatinate Championship in Men 's Ballet and

of course also the awarding of the Golden Lions.

Crista Bohlender founded our "Geißbock Hexen" in 2014. They have always been very active and

represented the KCD at several parades in the Vorderpfalz.

In the 2024/2025 campaign, we celebrated our 22nd anniversary. A gala session of a very special kind,

Because that is our motto: "Our gala session should not only be special, but unforgettable."

At the Annual General Meeting on 9 September 2025, all present jointly decided to support the association

a new name and a more modern look. It now bears the club name KC Deidesheim 2003 eV
